Third reading was held on the several projects during the May 17 County Council meeting including a fee in lieu of tax and incentive agreement for “Project 81 Logistics” which is Evergreen Road, LLC and FedEx Ground Package System, Inc. and transfer of property to three and Twenty Fire Department.
Also at that meeting Council approved a resolution designating May 21-27 as National Safe Boating Week and a resolution honoring Braxton Louch, a senior at Crescent High School, for his efforts to support animal welfare in Anderson County. Louch is the largest private donor in the history of Anderson County PAWS Animal Shelter.
Council also approved a resolution naming the Cattle Facility at Clemson’s T. Ed Garrison Livestock Area in honor of Dr. Poag Reid.
