Anne Swords

Williamston – Family and friends lost a pure and precious soul, Anne Swords, on Tuesday, July 26, 2022.

Anne was a beloved mother to Allen Swords and Allison Buchanan (Leon). She was a faithful and loving wife to Nelson Swords and will always be his forever sweetheart until they meet again.

She was a dedicated, caring, and giving Gram to Emerson Swords, Eleanor Daughhetee, and Meme to Gaines and Allie Buchanan.

Anne was the best kind of friend to countless people.  If you knew her, you loved her.

Anne is survived by her husband, two children, and four grandchildren, but she is ever-present in our dad’s heart, in her son’s compassion, in her daughter’s strength, and in her grandchildren’s brown eyes.

She had a long career in the field of chemistry at Ethox and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

She was predeceased by a brother, Barry Bishop.

The family will receive friends 10:00 – 11:00 am Thursday, July 28, at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer with a memorial service following at 11:00 am in the mortuary chapel.
