Investigators with the GCSO are conducting a death investigation at 6400 Augusta Road after a person was reportedly shot.
Greenville County Communications received the 911 call at around 10:40 A.M. regarding a person who was shot. When deputies arrived on scene, they located an adult male suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The injured party has been pronounced deceased on scene and a person of interest has been detained. Investigators are continuing to investigate the incident and further information will be released once available.
