Breakfast event to honor legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

The Town of Williamston and the Williamston Action Community Club will hold a Breakfast in Black and White, a tribute to the life and legacy of Reverend Dr., Martin Luther King, Jr. and Transforming dark yesterdays into brighter tomorrows.
The breakfast will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 4 at the Caroline Community Center, 1 School Street, in Williamston.
The event will also include a celebration of Home Town Heros, recognizing “unsung heroes for things that they have done in the community” a spokesperson said.
The event is free to the public, but a ticket is required for admission. Please contact Williamston Town Hall or a member of the Williamston Action Community Club for a free ticket. “We hope to see you there as we celebrate Hometown Heroes!”
