Pelzer Food Lion holds Grand Re-Opening

Food Lion in Pelzer held a Grand Re-Opening and Ribbon cutting Wednesday and is now offering shoppers an expanded variety of new products and services and an easier shopping experience.
The Pelzer re-opening was one of 8 Upstate stores celebrating a remodel along with expanded products and services.
“We’re excited to welcome our neighbors into their fresh, new Food Lion,” said store manager Mike Strange, who was recently named a Store Manager of the Year. “Our associates can’t wait to show customers their newly remodeled store and have them experience the expanded variety and assortment of new products and services.”
To help celebrate the completion of the remodel, the first 100 shoppers in the store Wednesday received a free gift card.
Among changes customers will experience are new lighting, redone floors, new scans and new registers. Customers will also see all new meat cases, new deli cases and a new produce table. A new hot bar includes sushi, wings and Asian items.

The Pelzer store also now offers home grocery delivery through Instacart.
With the click of a button customers can experience the same low prices and fresh food items without having to ever enter the store. The online service allows customers to place an order and have their groceries delivered right to their front door.
Customers can use Food Lion’s To Go website or the Food Lion To Go app to confirm availability and place orders.
Additionally, by linking their personal MVP card to their account, Food Lion customers can use digital coupons and redeem their “Shop & Earn” MVP rewards program savings. Customers can also see their accumulated Shop & Earn rewards on their checkout screen and view which clipped digital coupons will be applied to their order. This is in addition to their MVP discounts, in-store promotions and weekly savings specials.
