Southern Comedy is Last in Trilogy
Mill Town Players present Last Round-Up of the Guacamole Queens, the Southern-Fried High School Reunion Comedy at the Historic Pelzer Auditorium at 214 Lebby Street. The show will run for three weekends through June 18. The show features 12 hilarious, local actors, including Gail Trotter, Shannon Faulkner, Ed and Debbie Chambers, Jesse Winner, Carrie Ponder, Tish Crittendon, Brian Coker, Dona Shiflette, Donna Duffie, Beth Price, and Rod McClendon and is directed by Will Ragland.

Guacamole Queens is the third installment in the trilogy that began with the Red Velvet Cake War (2021) and continued with Rex’s Exes (2022). The Verdeen cousins of Sweetgum, TX, are up against the clock as they frantically attempt to produce the ultimate high school reunion before the old building is demolished. Expect all the chaos you’ve come to love – fights, farts, dynamite, a televangelist, an evil hand puppet, and a desperate pageant battle! Guacamole Queens runs Thursdays and Fridays at 7:30pm and Saturdays and Sundays at 3pm. Tickets are only $12, with $10 for seniors, military, and students (with an additional processing fee). For tickets, call (864)947-8000, go online to www.milltownplayers.org, or show up at the door. Plenty of great seats are available.
