The Pig in the Park BBQ Festival and Cook-off was held in Williamston’s Mineral Spring Park May 19 and 20.
Total scores include judging competitors barbecue cooking skills in five categories: appearance, aroma, tenderness, taste and overall. Top three cooking teams for Butts were First Place – Monkey Bottom Boys; Second Place – Casual and Third Place – Slinging Meat.
Top three cooking teams for Ribs were: First Place – Monkey Bottom Boys; Second Place – Slinging Meat and third place Casual Smokers.
