Williamston and West Pelzer police officers responded to a burglary in progress and the suspect was still in the premises Wednesday afternoon. Officers quickly set up a perimeter and their quick action resulted in the apprehension of the suspect after a short foot pursuit. Medshore ambulance service responded and checked the suspect. (The suspect cannot be seen in this photo) – The suspect, Ronald Allen McClain was charged with burglary.
