Anderson School District One Graduation Services for all three high schools will be held this Thursday, May 16, at Littlejohn Coliseum in Clemson. Palmetto High graduates will be the first to receive their diplomas with services scheduled to begin at 12 noon. Powdersville High will follow at 3 pm and Wren High graduation will be at 6 pm.
Palmetto High – 12 noon – 2 pm
The Palmetto High Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps Color Guard will present colors.
Honor Grad Michael Gordon will lead the Pledge of Allegiance. Ella Frailey will sing the National Anthem.
Honor Grad Jonathan Hayden will welcome guests. Salutatorian Jack Callaham will give his student address.
Special music “Light of Grace” will be presented by Andy Beck, Varsity Concert Choir.
Valedictorian Julia Wagner will give her student address.
Honor Grad Mardis Roach will read a letter from the Class of 2024.
Palmetto High Principal Robert Roach will recognize special guests before Anderson School District One Superintendent Robbie Binnicker presents diplomas. Principal Roach will assist along with Assistant Principals Dr. William Jones and April Hayes.
Principal Roach will comfirm graduates.
Honor Grad Shayna Cox will present the Student Response.
Powdersville High – 3 pm – 5 pm
Powdersville High Graduation will be held at 3 pm at Clemson’s Littlejohn Coliseum.
Honor Grads Olivia Ann Lee and Abigail Kathlyn Pomeroy will begin the program with a moment of reflection which will be followed by presentation of colors by the Wren NJROTC.
Honor Grad Maura Leigh Kindel will lead the Pledge to the Flag. Honor Grad Chloe Grace Qubti will sing the Star Spangled Banner.
Honor Grads and Student Body Co-Presidents Ashley Marie Burger and Grace Marie Brocket will welcome guests.
Special Music, “May the Road Rise to meet You” by Victor C Johnson will be presented by Concert Choir members and Show Choir members.
Powdersville High Principal Dr. Adam Lanford will present awards and recognition of honors.
Valedictorian Peyton Lily Roth will give her Graduation Address, “Will You Accept This Rose”.
Salutatorian Dylan Preston Beaudreau will give his Graduation Address, “help”.
Honor Grad Zuhair Ahmed Adnan will read a Letter to the Audience.
Dr. Lanford will award diplomas with assistance of Jessica Large and Phillip Bramblett.
The Alma Mater will be led by Honor Grad Maryn Kate Stiegel.
Honor Grad and Senior Class President Sofia McKenzie Garcia will have closing remarks.
Wren High – 6-8 pm
Wren Graduation services will be held at at 6 pm at Littlejohn Coliseum in Clemson.
The Wren High Orchestra, under the direction of Mary Beth Carpenter, will present Prelude music.
Honor Grad Ame Alison Jourdan will lead Opening Reflection which will be followed by Presentation of Colors by the Wren NJROTC Color Guard.
Honor Grad Natalie Zoe Huerfano Contreras will lead the Pledge of Allegiance and Honor Grad Maizie McKenzie Gatlin will sing the National Anthem.
Student Body President Ava Grace Blackson will welcome guests.
Special Music will be presented by Concert Choir members. Honor Grad Addison Noelle Hoyt will have a solo. Honor Grad Caleb Joshua Richardson will also have a solo.
Wren High Principal Dr. Kyle Whitfield will recognize special guests and give recognition of honors.
Honor Grad Ella Rose Sudbeck will give a Teacher Tribute.
Salutatorian Kamdyn Lucy Terry will present her Graduation Address “When We Grow Up”.
Valedictorian Ella Russell Shufelt will present her Graduation Address “Under Pressure”.
Honor Grad Mira Tarak Patel will read a Letter to the Audience.
Dr. Whitfield will award diplomas with assistance of Christopher Chapman and Courtney Jackson.
Honor Grad Cody Alan Rop will lead the Alma Mater. Honor Grad Gianna Carina Barbusea will have Final Thoughts.
