Two people were injured Monday afternoon after the car they were in collided with a loaded gasoline tanker. It happened at the intersection of Anderson Street and River Road in Piedmont. Medshore ambulance service transported the injured to the hospital. Piedmont firefighters responded and controlled a fluid spill from the car.
