Ricky Dale Holcomb of Williamston, 58, passed away Monday, August 5, 2024, at his home.
Born in Georgia, he was the son of the late Evelyn Marie Wooten Wood. He was employed with Glen Raven in Anderson and was a member of the Williamston and Cheddar Fire Departments.
Survivors include daughter, Jessica Clardy of Belton; one grandchild; sisters, Wanda and Connie.

Cecil Weaver, Jr.
Cecil Andrew Weaver, Jr. of Belton, 73, husband of Shirley Kay Gillespie Weaver, passed away Monday, August 5, 2024.
Born in Laurens, he was the son of the late Cecil Andrew Weaver, Sr. and Margaret Esther Burns Weaver McWherter. He retired from Local Union 391 and was of the Baptist faith. He loved to fish and go deer hunting.
In addition to his wife of 54 years, he is survived by son, Chris Weaver of the home; granddaughter, Brittany Weaver of Ladson; sisters, Libby Noblitt of Easley, Linda Gambrell of Pelzer, Karen Tompkins of Williamston, and Kathy Loftis of Geer; and his furry companion, Oreo.
Visitation will be from 2:00 to 3:00 pm Thursday, August 8, at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 pm in the mortuary chapel.

Sarah Davis
Williamston – Sarah Carol Ford Davis of Williamston, 77, wife of Talmadge Henry Davis, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2024.
Born in Williamston, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Thomas and Mildred Crawford Ford. She retired from the Bosch Corporation and was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by son, Robby Davis (Kaye) of Pelzer; brother, James Ford (Doyce Ann) of Piedmont; and grandchildren, Kenzy, Theo, and Tal Davis.
She was predeceased by nine brothers and three sisters.
The family received friends Tuesday, August 6, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer with the memorial service following at 1:00 p.m. in the mortuary chapel.

Linda Summerville
Linda Lowman Frady Summerville of Belton, 79, wife of Joseph Michael “Mike” Summerville, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2024, at her home.
Born in Hagerstown, MD, she was a daughter of the late Paul Eugene “Gonny” and Nellie Pearl Forsyth Lowman. She retired from J.P. Stevens Estes Plant.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons, John Frady of Dalzell, SC, Jimmy Frady of Piedmont, and Larry Frady of Simpsonville; daughter, Crystal Hatley of Pelzer; sister, Paula Teach of Clear Spring, MD; 20 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 9, at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer with the funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. in the mortuary chapel. Entombment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Anderson.

Kim Cummings Rice of Williamston passed away July 19 after a brief illness.
She is survived by her husband Paul Rice of Williamston.
She was predeceased by parents Connie and Jerry Cummings of Williamston.
Jackie Clevenger
Jackie Lee Clevenger of Piedmont, 73, widower of Rebecca Diane Davis Clevenger, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at his home.
Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late Roy Jackson and Earline Gladys Moore Clevenger. He retired from Black Electrical.
Survivors include daughter, Dana Clevenger of Powdersville; son, Jason Clevenger of Spartanburg; two grandchildren, and sister, Jan Arnold of Piedmont.
The family received friends Saturday, August 3, at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer.
Per his wishes, no funeral service is planned.

David R. Cooper
Mr. David Roy Cooper, 80, of Pittsfield, died on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Fairview Commons in Great Barrington.
He was born in Westfield on August 19, 1943, a son of the late Roy and May Chase (Holmes) Cooper. He attended schools in Dalton and graduated from Wahconah High School.
Mr. Cooper was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served with the United States Navy until receiving his Honorable Discharge on May 13, 1968.
Mr. Cooper worked in the maintenance department of the former Beloit Jones Co., in Dalton for many years until retiring.
He is survived by his wife, the former Jeanne-Marie St. Hilaire, whom he married on June 26, 1964; two daughters, Wendy Sikorski and her husband Stan of Queens, NY and Amy Baker and her husband Steve of Middlefield; his son, Seth Cooper and his wife Stacy of Abington, MA; three brothers, David’s twin Dale Cooper of Williamston, Dwayne and Donald Cooper; eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held on Monday, July 29th at 11:00 A.M. in the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams.
Burial followed in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams.
