Quick action by Piedmont and South Greenville firefighters kept a mobile home from being destroyed by fire Sunday night. The homeowner arrived home and found the home filled with smoke. Apparently an air conditioner on the outside of the home had caught fire and spread up an exterior wall. Firefighters removed the smoke from the home.
