In addition to choosing candidates for offices, voters will have two referendum items to decide when they go to the polls on Tuesday, Nov. 5. The following questions will be on the ballot:

Statewide Constitutional Amendment – Must Section 4, Article II of the Constitution of this State, relating to voter qualifications, be amended so as to provide that only a citizen of the United States and of this State of the age of eighteen and upwards who is properly registered is entitled to vote as provided by law?

Anderson County voters have the opportunity to make their wishes known regarding how to pay for road and bridge improvements throughout the county.
Question 1 – I approve a special sales and use tax in the amount of one percent to be imposed in Anderson County, South Carolina for not more than seven years to fund the following project or projects: Project (1) For improvements to highways, roads (paved and unpaved), streets, intersections, bridges, and related drainage system improvements within Anderson County, South Carolina, including those projects identified in the Anderson County Road Study dated August 6, 2024. $366,000,000.
