Piedmont firefighters await state troopers at the scene of a single vehicle wreck Wednesday night. It happened on Highway 20 near Smith Drive. The vehicle left the road and overturned. Firefighters searched the area as a precaution but never found the occupant. Greenville county EMS also responded.
