Man dies one month after motorcycle wreck

An Easley man who was injured in a motorcycle wreck on Old Pendleton Road on Oct. 14, has died.
Anderson County Coroner Greg Shore said that Sanford Welborn, 57, succumbed to his injuries on Saturday, nearly one month after the motorcycle wreck.
According to reports, preliminary investigation showed that the victim pulled out into the roadway on his motorcycle and was hit by an oncoming vehicle. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and was thrown from the motorcycle. The victim was treated by responders and taken to Prisma Hospital in Greenville where he succumbed to his injuries on November 9 at 2:35am.
The death has been ruled accidental.
The investigation is ongoing by the Anderson County Office of the Coroner and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
