South Greenville and Piedmont firefighters responded to Ellen Woodside Elementary School Tuesday morning. When firefighters arrived they discovered smoke in the building and the students were evacuated to another building. After further investigation it was determined an electrical motor was the source of the smoke. The scene was made safe and the students returned to the building. Greenville county EMS stood by as a precaution but there were no injuries.
