Myra Sweatt
Myra Annette Johnson Sweatt of Williamston, 56, wife of Joel Wayne Sweatt, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2024, at her home.
Born in Spartanburg, she was a daughter of the late John David Johnson, Sr. and Frances Irene Wooten Johnson. She was formerly employed with CVS and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, Greenville.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughter, Hannah Marie Robinson of Campobello; sister, Bambi Irene Johnson of Lyman; brother, John David Johnson, Jr. of Lyman.
The family received friends Tuesday, December 10, at Tabernacle Baptist Church with the funeral service following. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Nancy Willingham
Nancy Lee Kennemore Willingham of Belton, 78, widow of Clyde O’Dell Willingham, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2024 at her home.
Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Roy Lee and Mildred Kennemore. She retired from Michelin and was a member of Whitefield Baptist Church.
Survivors include daughter, Rhonda Lynn Burrell of Belton; sister, Kathy Leroy of Pendleton; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family received friends December 10 at the home.

Bobby Murray
Bobby Louie Murray of Piedmont, 90, passed away Dec. 6, 2024. He was the widower of Aubrey Ann Cartee Murray.
He was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church,
Bob grew up in Westminster, SC, and after graduating high school joined the US Army and retired from the the South Carolina Technical College System.
He is survived by two sons, Ken Murray of Pendleton, and Dana Murray of the home; sister, Lois Hardy of Seneca.
The family will received friends December 10th at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer with the funeral service following in the mortuary chapel.
A private committal will be held.

Elizabeth Pruitt Cooley of Williamston, 92, beloved wife of over 71 years to Vance Cooley, Jr., passed away at her daughter’s home in Brunswick, Georgia, on December 3, 2024
Born in Anderson, she was the only child of Albert S. and Mary McCall Pruitt. She retired as the school secretary for Palmetto High School and was a member of Williamston First Baptist Church. .
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters Frances Gahagan of Brunswick, Georgia, and Ann Cooley of Alpharetta, Georgia; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family received friends December 8 at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer with the funeral service following in the mortuary chapel. Entombment was at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Anderson.

Betty Ann Brewer Chandler of Belton, 68, wife of Johnny Randall Chandler, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2024 at her home.
Born in Elmira, NY, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Delores Marie Fuller Brewer. She was formerly employed with AnMed Medical Center and a member of Beech Springs Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by children, John Chandler of Anderson, Mishcha Sprouse of Belton, Shane Chandler of Anderson, and Matthew McDonald of Belton; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 11, at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer with the funeral service following at 2:00 p..m. in the mortuary chapel.
Burial will take place at M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery on Thursday, December 19, at 10:00 a.m.
