Hamilin Road deaths related to drug overdose

Three and Twenty firefighters responded to an incident on Hamlin Road, Easley along with Medshore, QRV’s, and multiple officers with the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office and coroners office on December 25. Anderson County Coroner Greg Shore said that two people died as the result of Polydrug Toxicity and the manner of death has been ruled accidental. According to Shore, the deaths appear to be related to illicit drug use.

The victim’s were identified as a 49-year-old white male and a 59-year-old white female. The white male was found outside the residence and the female was located inside. The names of the decedents were withheld due to the cause of death.

The Office of the Coroner does not any suspect foul play in the deaths of the two individuals and there appears to be no danger to the general public.

The Anderson County Fire Department , Medshore Ambulance Service, Anderson County EMS, Anderson County Sheriff’s Office and the Office of the Coroner responded to a residence on Hamlin Road around 5:55 pm on Christmas Day regarding the discovery of two individuals deceased.
