Many residents woke up to icy trees and utility lines Saturday morning. This was the situation on Highway 77 outside of Williamston. A minimal amount of snow fell Friday and eventually changed over to sleet and freezing rain. There were numerous wrecks around the area during the storm event. (Photo by David Rogers)
