Janice Lucille Lusk Henderson Rhodes of Piedmont, 84, widow of Ronald Fred Rhodes, passed away Monday, January 20, 2025.
She was twice married, first to the late Charles Henderson.
Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Riley Mason and Nellie Rose Gambrell Lusk. She retired from Gerber Childrenswear and was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include sons, Michael Henderson, Mark Henderson, and Glen Rhodes; daughter, Angela Homeister; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and brothers, Ray and John Lusk.
The family will receive friends 1:00 – 1:45 p.m. Thursday, January 23, at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer with the funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. in the mortuary chapel. Burial will be at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
The family is at the home of Mark and Lisha Henderson, 213 Muth Ave., Pelzer.

Tony Dale Bruce
Pelzer – Tony Dale Bruce, 75, husband of Annie Jeanette Patterson Bruce, passed away Friday, January 17, 2025 at his home.
Born in Pelzer, he was a son of the late Clyde “Jr. Bruce” Leo Bruce, Jr., and Ruby Lee Evans Bruce. He retired from Glen Raven Mill as a maintenance technician.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter, Carol Bruce Owen (Danny); grandchildren, Bruce Glover, and Emily McLeod (Austin); and great-grandchild, Nash McLeod.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Robert, and Haynie Bruce.
A visitation was held Tuesday, January 21, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Gray Mortuary.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 22, at 2:00 p.m. in the visitation room, with burial to follow at Pine Lawn Cemetery.

Randy Griffith
William Randall “Randy” Griffith of Anderson, 68, formerly of Liberty, husband of the late Maria Antionette “Toni” Looper Griffith, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2025.
Born in Liberty, he was a son of the late William Ellison “Bill” and Frances Whitfield Griffith.
He is survived by son, Jason Griffith of Liberty; brother, Stan Griffith of Westminster; sister, Susan Wentzky of Liberty; and four grandchildren.
He was predeceased by son, Matthew Lee “Matt” Griffith.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date.

Dorothy Mildred Turner Martin of Greenville, 85, wife of the late Jack Page Martin, passed away Monday, January 20, 2025.
Born in Danville, VA, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Mildred Evans Turner. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Williamston.
She is survived by sons, John Martin and Steve Martin; brothers, Maynard Turner and Dennis Turner; sister, Jeanette Crawford; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
A private service will be held.

Anthony Stephen White of Piedmont, 73, husband of Frankie Elaine Knight White, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2024.
Born in Williamston, he was a son of the late Bobby Dacus White and Elizabeth Tessner White. He was employed with Mike Barcroft Attorney at Law.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter, Melissa White of Pelzer; son, Jonathan White of Piedmont; step-mother, Geneva White of Laurens; brother, Warren White of Simpsonville; sisters, Janine Burden of Greenville, Jennifer Law of Piedmont, and Aleisa Prosser of Greenville; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:30 pm Tuesday, January 28, at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, January 29, in the mortuary chapel with burial to follow at Graceland East Memorial Park.
