As temperatures have dropped significantly in Anderson County, local organizations are providing safe and warm shelter for those in need. HOPE Missions and Hillcrest Baptist Church have announced the opening of warming centers to help residents stay protected from the dangerously cold conditions.
HOPE Missions Warming Center (Anderson) – 213 S Towers St, Anderson, Tuesday, January 21 through Thursday, January 23: Opens daily at 6:00 PM; Friday, January 24: Opens at 8:00 PM; Saturday, January 25: Opens at 10 PM.

Hillcrest Baptist Warming Shelter (Williamston) – 1300 Anderson Drive, Williamston, Open nightly through Friday, January 24, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 AM
