Betty Tarrant Parker
Betty Tarrant Parker of Greenville, 89, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025, at her home.
Born in Piedmont, she was a daughter of the late William Tarrant and Emmie Davis Tarrant. She retired from Duke Energy and was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her nieces, Donna Kay Kelly and Ann Clardy; and nephews, Roger, Randy, and Dale Tarrant.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, February 14 at the Greenville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with visitation to follow the service.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude, Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Belton – Wendy Marie Nisbet McAbee, 60, wife of Willie Dee McAbee, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2025.
Born in Newport, RI, she was a daughter of the late Leonard Joseph Nisbet and Kathleen Patricia Robertson. She retired from McAbee Crane and was a member of Bessie Road Baptist Church. Wendy loved the Lord, her family, children, grandchildren, and dancing. She was also an avid race fan.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by son, John William McAbee of Belton; daughter, Mary Kathleen Black (Chad) of Belton; step-father, Tip Robertson (Terri) of Sevierville, TN; sisters, Heidi Whittington (Keith) of Little River and Becky Christian (Mark) of Carnesville, GA; aunt, Barbara Mass; several nieces and nephews; and grandchildren, John Boy McAbee, Hunter Black, Ellie McAbee, Ethan Black, Layla McAbee, Levi Black who were her greatest blessings.
The family will receive friends 10:30 – 11:45 a.m. Friday, February 14, at Bessie Road Baptist Church with the funeral service following at 12:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cancer Society of Greenville County, 113 Mills Ave., Greenville, SC 29605.
