Envision Williamston is continuing to honor local veterans on street banners with their “Hometown Heroes” project.
Family members and others who would like to honor their “hometown hero” can submit a photo and information so that their hero can be displayed on a pole banner along Williamston’s Main Street. Past and present military can be recognized, Envision Williamston Executive Director Roberta Hamby said.
The banners are two sided with the soldiers photo, name and service information.
Applications are available online at EnvisionWilliamston.com or at Williamston Town Hall.
