Anderson County District 7 Councilwoman Cindy Wilson has scheduled two planning meetings for residents of her district.
There will be a discussion and input on Comprehensive Planning in Anderson County at 6:30 pm, Feb. 25 at Friendship Fire Department in Honea Path.
Anderson County is in the process of updating their 10 year Comprehensive Plan. All citizens in District 7 are invited to attend this meeting to hear about the changes that have occurred in the County since 2016 to present. Topics to be discussed include: Land Use, Population, Natural Resources, Transportation, Housing, Resilience, Economic Development, Priority Investment, Community Services and Facilities.
Friendship Fire Department is located at 1938 Abercrombie Road in Honea Path. The meeting will be held in the conference room.
Also there will be community engagement and discussion of the US Hwy. 29 Corridor Plan at a meeting to be held at 6:30 pm, Apr. 22 at Whitefield Baptist Church.
