Update (March 10) – The Greenville County Coroner’s Office has identified the person who died last Wednesday in a house fire at 451 Hollan Ford Road as Danny Glen Chastian, 70, of Pelzer. According to the GCCO, an autopsy was completed on March 6 and cause and manner of death pending at this time.
South Greenville, Cheddar, and Friendship firefighters responded to a house fire Wednesday morning. According to the Greenville County Coroners office the fire was fatal. The house, on Holland Ford Road was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived. Greenville County EMS along with the sheriff’s department also responded. (Photo by David Rogers)
