Whitefield firefighters responded to a two vehicle wreck Friday night that shut down Highway 29 for more than an hour. A car and pickup truck collided at the intersection of Old Williamston Road. At least two people were transported to the hospital by Medshore ambulance service. Anderson county deputies and state troopers also responded.
