Firefighters from Powdersville, Wren, Piedmont, and West Pelzer responded to a house fire Tuesday afternoon on Tall Oaks Circle off of River Road. When firefighters arrived just minutes after receiving the call, flames were coming from the garage of the home. Quick action by firefighters prevented the fire from destroying the home. Medshore and a QRV also responded to the fire.
