Karen Karlik
Karen Louise Kovar Karlik of Piedmont, 82, wife of the late Thomas James Karlik, passed away Friday, March 28, 2025, at NHC Mauldin.
Born in Auburn, NY, she is a daughter of the late Paul Kovar, Jr. and Ruth Greene Kovar Bishop. She retired from the Greenville County Schools Special Education Department and is a member of St. Michael Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her children, Melani Robinso, Mindy Jordan, Patsy Leubner, David Karlik, and Jamie Karlik; sister, Eileen Thomas; brother, Michael Kovar; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and very special friend, Cathy Parks.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 2, at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Gray Mortuary, Pelzer with visitation following the service in the chapel.
A private burial will be held at M. J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery at a later date.

Pelzer – Carl Stanley Neely, 81, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2025.
Born in Pelzer, he was a son of the late Burton Stanley Neely of Newport, TN and Frances Ruth (Page) Neely of Thomaston, GA.
He is survived by his 5 children: Bruce Neely of West Pelzer, Ronnie Neely (Sandra) of Pelzer, Regina Davis (Kenneth) of the home, Brandon Neely of Pelzer, and Renae Williams (Robert) of Pelzer; 12 grandchildren: Brooke, Jennifer, Cody, Emilie, Paige, Meagan, Madison, Lexy, Matthew, Ethan, Zach, and Kennedy; and 7 great-grandchildren: Ben, Bella, Gabriel, Weston, Grayson, Charlotte, and Nora.
He was predeceased by his former wife: Rachel (Smith) Neely of Pelzer and his six brothers: Lamar, Harlan, Leon, Rudolph, Bob, and Homer.
A Drop-in Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 5th, 2025 at Eastview Baptist Church in Pelzer from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM (120 Eastview Rd, Pelzer, SC 29669).
