The Greenville County Coroner’s Office and the Greenville County Sheriff’s office are investigating the death of a Piedmont man, following a shooting that took place last Wednesday. According to the Coroner’s office, investigating Kevin Douglas Rhodes, 41, 324 Golf Course Road, Piedmont received at least one gunshot wound on April 16, while in the area of 109 Orders St. Piedmont. Rhodes was transported from the incident location to Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital and died on April 21. An autopsy was scheduled to be performed on April 22, Tuesday. The incident is being investigated as a homicide by the Greenville County Coroner’s and the Sheriff’s Office.
