Anderson School District One Graduates to receive diplomas Thursday

Anderson School District One Graduation Services for all three high schools will be held this Thursday, May 15, at Littlejohn Coliseum in Clemson. Powdersville High graduates will be the first to receive their diplomas with services scheduled to begin at 9 am. Palmetto High will follow at 12 noon and Wren High graduation will be at 3 pm.
Palmetto – 12 noon
For Palmetto High Graduates, the Palmetto Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Color Guard will present colors. Honor Grad Averie Butler will lead the Pledge of Allegiance.
Ben Styles will present the National Anthem. Honor Grad Calvin Landreth will welcome guests. Salutatorian Carla Cristobal-Ajqui will give her student address. The Palmetto Varsity Concert choir will present special music “I Am Still Your Dreamer”.
Valedictorian Sam Navarro will give his student address. Honor Grad Jase Phillips will read a Letter from the Class of 2025.
Palmetto Principal Robert Roach will recognize special guests which will be followed by Presentaton of Diplomas. District One Superintendent Dr. Seth Young, Principal Roach, Assistant Principal Dr. William Jones and Assistant Principal Daryl Imperati will present diplomas.
Principal Roach will then confirm graduates. Honor Grad Kali Harris will give her student response which will be followed by the Alma Mater and Recessional.
WREN – 3 PM
For the Wren High Commencement Ceremony, the Prelude will be presented by the Wren High Orchestra under the direction of Mary Beth Carpenter and will be followed by the Processional “Pomp and Circumstance”.
Honor Grad Luke Jackson Woodall will have an Opening Reflection and the NJROTC Color Guard will present colors.
Honor Grad London Mackenzie Faust will lead the Pledge of Allegiance. Honor Grad Sarah Grace Turner will sing the National Anthem. Honor Grad Raina Ann Harwood will welcome guests.
Special Music “You Raise Me Up” will be provided by Concert Choir members with solos by Jacob Cole Norris and Jessica Mariah Stoddard.
Wren Principal Dr. Kyle Whitfield will recognize special guests including District One Board of Trustees, District Office Personnel and Wren Area Administrators.
Honor Grad Jillian Raine Swire-Clark will present a Teacher Tribute. Dr. Whitfield will recognize Honor Graduates.
Salutatorian Kirsten Leigh Miller will give her graduation address “The Power of Choice”.
Valedictorian Katherine Renee Kilborn will give her graduation address “What Will Your Story Be?”
Honor Grad Daniella Joy Diffenbach will read a Letter to the Audience.
Dr. Whitfield, Christopher Chapman and Courtney Jackson will award diplomas.
Honor Grad Grant Tate Young will lead the Alma Mater.
Honor Grad Warren Thomas Holcombe will have Final Thoughts.
POWDERSVILLE – 9 AM
Kicking off graduation services for District One will be Powdersville High. Honor Grad Cooper James Cook will open with a “Moment of Reflection”. The NJROTC will present colors.
Honor Grad Jaidyn Arianna Rose Hamblen will lead the pledge to the flag. Honor Grad Olivia Rose Gray will present the “Star Spangled Banner”.
Honor Grad and Student Body Co-Presidents Ana Reca and Emma Grace Cree will welcome guests.
Special Music “I Lived” will be presented by Concert Choir and Show Choir members.
Powdersville Principal Dr. Adam Lanford will present awards and recognize honors.
Valedictorian and Honor Grad Trevor Hans Preisig will give his graduation address “A Chapter Closes, the Story Continues”.
Salutatorian and Honor Grad Julia Claire McConnell will give her graduation address “Sole Discovery”.
Honor Grad Caroline Elizabeth King will read a Letter to the Audience.
Dr. Lanford, Jessica Large and Phillip Bramblett will award diplomas.
Honor Grad Abigail Sue Raines and Honor Grad Lillian Michelle Newton will lead the Alma Mater.
Honor Grad and Senior Class President Jerry Michael Trey Taylor III will have closing remarks.
