Carolyn Langston
Carolyn Davenport Langston of Belton, 85, widow of Charles Lee Langston, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2025 at her home.
Born in Pelzer, she was a daughter of the late Roy Lee and Elizabeth Hill Davenport. She retired from Michelin and was of the Church of God faith.
Survivors include son, Steven Langston of Honea Path; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sister, Sheryl Cain of Fountain Inn; and brother, John Davenport of Fallon, Nevada.
The family received friends May 13, at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 15, at Greenville Memorial Gardens.

David King
Belton – David Newton King, 94, husband of 70 years to the late Joyce Elizabeth Elgin King, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2025.
Born in Anderson, he was a son of the late Norrcye E. and Marie McDowell King. He retired from Milliken Peerless Plant and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, Williamston.
He is survived by son, Ronnie King (Connie) of Belton; grandchildren, Erik King and Heather King Hellams (Chad); great-grandchildren, Kohan Branyon and Kohen Hellams.
He was predeceased by daughter, Diane King Bolt (Charles); six brothers; and three sisters.
Visitation was Saturday, May 10 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer. The funeral service followed at 3:00 pm in the mortuary chapel. Burial will be at Garden of Memories.
