Piedmont firefighters rescued a woman from a fire Friday morning. When firefighters arrived they found the woman had fallen while cooking and couldn’t get up. They took her from her Saluda Drive apartment and Medshore treated her. The fire was quickly contained and extinguished by firefighters.
