The resurfacing of SC 20 began Monday morning in Cheddar. A SCDOT contractor will be resurfacing the road from Harper Street to the North/South Hamilton Street intersection in Williamston. This will encompass Belton Drive, West Main Street, East Main Street, and a small portion of Greenville Drive. Also, in the next few weeks resurfacing of Highway 86 in Piedmont will begin. It will be from the railroad tracks on Bessie Road to the Saluda River at the Greenville – Anderson county line. ((Photo by David Rogers)
