A zoning informational meeting will be held in the Neals Creek voting precinct at 6 p.m. Monday, June 2 at Neals Creek Baptist Church Family Life Center.
District 2 County Councilman Glenn Davis and District 3 Councilman Greg Elgin along with Anderson County Planning and Community Development Staff will present information to educate voters of the Neals Creek Voting Precinct about a recent certification petition, the zoning process, types of zoning classification, zoning regulation, zoning codes and the difference between zoning and land use regulations.
Fifteen percent of residents in the Neals Creek voting precinct recently initiated zoning for the precinct by petition.
Neals Creek Baptist Church is located at 3204 Amith Road Ext., Anderson.
