Winnie Lee Hudson Bell
Winnie Lee Hudson Bell, 89, wife of James “Jim” Roger Bell, of Williamston, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025.
Born in Pickens, she was a daughter of the late Luther Ferb and Dora Nancy Crenshaw Hudson.
She was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church in Williamston.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Karen Sue “Susie” Coldiron, Sharon Michele Dickson, and Sheila Sloan Brown (Trent Holtzclaw); brothers, Larry Hudson and Ray Hudson; sisters, Judy Gruver and Pat Clark; five grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held at Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Sunset.

Donna Lee Bair Hudson
Donna Lee Bair Hudson age 65 of Oakwood GA, passed away peacefully May 25, 2025. Funeral services were held May 31, 2025 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home at Flowery Branch GA. Interment was at Sunrise Cemetery Maysville, GA.
Donna was born April 13, 1960 to Sonny Bair (Shelby) and Lee Hughes (Ed) in Anderson, SC.
She is survived by her brother Lanny Bair (Patsy), and nieces and nephews.
Donna married Mike Hudson on Oct. 17 1988. The two were life long companions and friends. They were blessed with one son Jeremy and granddaughters Taylor, Maddie and Carley and six great-grandchildren.
She worked at Wayne Farms, GA. for over thirty years in corporate office. Donna will be missed by her family and friends.
Kenneth Russell
Kenneth “Ken” Amos Russell of Pelzer, 76, husband of Elaine Kelly Russell, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2025.
Born in Pelzer, he was a son of the late Ossie and Maebel Chastain Russell. He retired from Gerber Childrenswear.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by step-son, Wayne Austin (Amy); two grandsons, and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 9:30 – 10:30 am Monday, June 9, at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer.
A graveside service will follow at 11:00 am at Greenville Memorial Gardens.

Daisy Lee Elrod McConnell of Williamston, 89, widow of Henry Eugene McConnell, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025.
Born in Belton, she was a daughter of the late Walter Everett and Texie Annie Elrod. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, Williamston.
Survivors include daughters, Debra Hollingsworth and Lyn McConnell, both of Williamston;three grand, all of Williamston; seven great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held May 31 at Trinity Baptist Church.The funeral service followed at the church. Burial was at Greenville Memorial Gardens.

Carolyn Sue Scroggs born on February 6th 1938 passed away Tuesday May 27th 2025 at her home in Belton.
She left behind three children, one granddaughter, nephews, and nieces.
A graveside service will be held for her at Oaklawn on Hwy 81 on June 5 at 2 pm.

Jeffrey Mark Parker of Pelzer, 61, husband of Robin Elizabeth “Beth” Allen Parker, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2025.
Born in Greenville, he was the son of Geneva Thomas Melton and the late Roy Irvin Parker. He was a retired insurance agent with RBC/Liberty Life Ins. Co. and a member of Washington Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by son, Brandon Mark Parker; and sister, Deborah Evans.
The family received friends June 2 at Washington Baptist Church and the funeral service followed at the church. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Born in Anderson, he was a son of the late Arthur Nathan Wilson, Sr. and Vurna Mae Hayes Wilson. He retired from Palmetto Loom and Reed.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by son, Arthur Donald Wilson, Jr.; daughters, Pam Fortner and Cathy Godfrey; brother, Michael Wilson; sister-in-law, Barbara Wilson; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
The family will receive friends 10:30 – 11:45 a.m. Thursday, June 5, at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer with the funeral service following at 12:00 p.m. in the mortuary chapel. Burial will be at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
