West Pelzer firefighters responded to a power line down on Drake Street Saturday evening after a severe thunderstorm rolled through the area. Several thousand people were without power in Anderson County following the storm. A large tree limb also fell on Main Street in West Pelzer. A tree fell on Murphy Road in the Cheddar community and had to be cut from the roadway. Winds as high as 60 mph were recorded in Anderson County during the thunderstorm. (Photo by David Rogers)
