One person died following a two vehicle fiery wreck Thursday afternoon. It happened at the intersection of East Church Road and Ridge Road. Three and Twenty firefighters, Medshore, QRV’s, state troopers, and deputies responded. Responders rendered aid to multiple patients. One person was ejected and the vehicle caught fire after the wreck. A passerby reportedly removed the ejected driver from beside the burning vehicle to safety. That driver was flown to the Prisma Greenville by LifeFlight helicopter where she later died. The other driver was taken by ambulance.
