At approximately two o’clock on Saturday morning, Walker McElmoyle, Three and Twenty, and Pendleton firefighters responded to a structure fire on Bishop Branch Road. Upon arrival firefighters found the front porch on fire with extension into the structure. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and a primary search conducted at the same time. No occupants were in the structure. It is believed that smoldering fireworks in a trash bag left on the porch may have started the fire.
