The Rock the Country music festival will return to Anderson this weekend. The two day event, which features national artists, is expected to bring approximately 25,000 people to the area.
“We are thrilled to host Rock the Country again this year,” said County Administrator Rusty Burns. “We know fans are coming from all over the country who will find out how special Anderson County is. We hope they come early to enjoy our lake, our shops and our hospitality.”
Adrienne Cole, Anderson County Sports and Entertainment Center General Manager said, “We joke with the promoters that they save the best for last by ending the tour here in Anderson, but we really work to make that true.” “We have a dedicated team that worked year round with the promoters to prepare and we can’t wait to welcome the fans!”
Friday Lineup includes Kid Rock, Tracy Lawrence, Aaron Lewis and The Stateliners, Shenandoah, Little Texas, Logan Crosby, Ying Yang Twins.
Saturday Lineup includes Nickelback, Hank Williams Jr., Gavin Adcock, Mark Chesnutt, Hudson Westbrook, Afroman.
Traffic, weather, medical and safety plans have been carefully orchestrated with local officials and the promoters. Road closures and other important public information will be posted on the Anderson Sports and Entertainment Center Facebook page.
