Anderson School District One will welcome students back for the 2025-2026 school year on Tuesday, August 5th.
Starting this school year, Anderson One will be using a new communication system to share important information and updates with families. In addition to email and automated phone calls, the District will share information via text message. The messages will come from 98900.
District One will also be partnering with AnMed to host a school supply distribution and health fair from 5 pn to 7 pm on August 1st at their new Piedmont location. The District will accept school supply donations at the District Office through the end of the month.
Applications for Anderson District One families who want to request free or reduced school meals (breakfast and lunch) are now available for completion online at LINQConnect
These applications can be completed any time during the 2025 school year. A new application can be submitted due to a financial hardship or a change in income throughout the year.
Families approved for free or reduced school meals during the 2024-2025 school year must reapply for benefits for the 2025-2026 school year. If a new application is not received or you did not receive a letter from the district starting you were pre-approved for the 2025-2026 school year then you will lose benefits as of 09-16-2025.
Eligibility is based on household income and number of household members.
Paper applications will be available at each school at the beginning of the school year. If you have any questions, you may call the school district’s Student Nutrition Services office at 864-847-7344.
Students and their families will have an opportunity to visit their school and meet teachers this week.
