Anderson School District One Students returned to the classroom Tuesday of this week.
Starting this school year, Anderson One will be using a new communication system to share important information and updates with families. In addition to email and automated phone calls, the District will share information via text message. The messages will come from 98900.
Applications for Anderson District One families who want to request free or reduced school meals (breakfast and lunch) are now be available for completion online at LINQConnect
These applications can be completed any time during the 2025 school year. A new application can be submitted due to a financial hardship or a change in income throughout the year.
Families approved for free or reduced school meals during the 2024-2025 school year must reapply for benefits for the 2025-2026 school year. If a new application is not received or you did not receive a letter from the district stating you were pre-approved for the 2025-2026 school year then you will lose benefits as of 09-16-2025.
Eligibility is based on household income and number of household members.
Paper applications will be available at each school at the beginning of the school year. If you have any questions, you may call the school district’s Student Nutrition Services office at 864-847-7344.
