The Rock the Country music festival returned to Anderson with a two day event featuring national artists and bringing approximately 50,000 people to the area. Hot temperatures and high humidity didn’t stop the crowd from enjoying the event. Anderson County Administrator Rusty Burns said, “We know fans came from all over the country and found out how special Anderson County is.” Performers included Kid Rock, Tracy Lawrence, Aaron Lewis and The Stateliners, Shenandoah, Little Texas, Logan Crosby, Ying Yang Twins. Also Nickelback, Hank Williams Jr., Gavin Adcock, Mark Chesnutt, Hudson Westbrook and Afroman.
