Julia Marlene Bryant
Williamston- Julia Marlene Bryant, 81, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2025.
Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Fred Earnest and Julia McAlister Clardy.
Ms. Bryant was a member of White Plains Baptist Church. She loved her church family.
She is survived by son, Barry Bryant (Jennifer); grandsons, Andrew (Kristen) and Alex Bryant; granddaughter, Anna Grace Bryant; step-grandchildren, Katie Gannaway, Krista Dies and Kelcie Hack; and great-grandchildren, Imogen Bryant and Van Bryant.
She was preceded in death by spouse, William Cecil Bryant; son, William Allan Bryant; and brothers, James and Conrad Clardy.
A visitation will be held Friday, August 29, 2025 from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm at Gray Mortuary. The funeral service will be held Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 2:00 pm at White Plains Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Clara Mae Tinsley
Clara Mae Tinsley of Fair Play, 97, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2025.
Born in Greenwood, SC, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Jewell Jordan Kelley.
She is survived by a daughter, Vickie Stinnett; son, Don Tinsley; daughter in law Patsy Tinsley; grandsons, Brian Tinsley and Cain Stinnett; four granddaughters; fourteen great- grandchildren; and, two great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 27, at 2:00 pm at Flat Rock Baptist Church Cemetery in Liberty. Visitation will follow after the service.

Willette Wilson
Barbara Willette Harris Wilson of Pelzer, 94, wife of the late Fred Lewis Wilson, Jr., passed away, Tuesday, August 19, 2025.
Born in Pelzer, she was a daughter of the late Jim and Angie McCoy Harris. She retired from Greenville County Health Department and also spent many years in textiles.
She is survived by son, Neil Wilson of Easley; brother, Roy Harris of Pelzer; and two grandchildren.
The funeral service was held August 23 in the chapel at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer. Burial was at Greenville Memorial Gardens.

Zach Haynes
Zachary Michael Haynes of Belton, 30, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.
Born in Greenville, he was the son of Ricky Joe Haynes and Brenda Leeann Fricks.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by sisters, Zaynah “Michaela” Fricks and Zena Haynes.
Visitation was August 10 at Park Church, 208 Greenville Dr., Williamston.

Calvin Ellison
Calvin Lee Ellison of Williamston, 80, husband of Sherry Elaine Hanley Ellison, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2025.
Born in the Cheddar Community, he was a son of the late William Harold and Ruth Rogers Ellison. He retired from Harper Corporation and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Williamston.
In addition to his wife he is survived by son, Calvin Daniel Ellison; daughters, Lori Ellison Mainzer and Amy Ellison Thrasher; sisters, Sylvia Ann Loskoski and Velma Rice; brothers, John William Ellison and Roger Ellison; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was August 23 at Trinity Baptist Church. The funeral service followed in the church. Burial was at Cedar Grove Baptist Church.

Betty Woodson
Pelzer – Betty Lou Bagwell Woodson, 85, widow of Charles Guyton Woodson, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025.
Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Arthur Vaughn and Rachel Alberta “Bertie” Stone Bagwell. She was a member of Pelzer First Baptist Church.
Survivors include daughter, Susan Woodson Bracken (Dale); sons, Greg Woodson and Doug Woodson (Valerie); 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by 7 siblings.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, August 29, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Anderson.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at The Maples at Austin Place and Hospice of the Upstate for the care and kindness shown to Betty.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Rd., Anderson, SC 29261.
The family will be at the home of Susan Bracken.
