Anderson County Sheriff’s Office detectives have arrested Kobie Clary, 24, in connection with a stabbing that took place early Sunday morning at a home on Drake Street in Pelzer.
According to the ACSO, the victim told deputies she woke up to Clary attacking her with a knife. Clary had previously lived in a building on the victim’s property but had been placed on trespass notice several months ago. The victim had not had contact with him since.
During the investigation, Detectives learned that Clary had stolen a vehicle in order to get to the residence. He was quickly located and taken into custody without incident.
Clary is being charged with Burglary 1st Degree, Grand Larceny and Attempted Murder.
The victim was in stable condition in the hospital. This investigation remains ongoing.
