Whitefield firefighters responded to a wreck Friday morning involving a golf cart and a car. The golf cart was struck in the rear on Anderson Highway just before Highway 29. The driver of the golf cart was transported to the hospital by Medshore ambulance service. A QRV and state troopers also responded. That section of Anderson Highway was closed until the wreckage was cleared. (Photo by David Rogers)
