Jimmy Horne
Jimmy Dale Horne of Williamston, 82, husband of Mary Elizabeth Higginbotham Horne, passed away Sunday, October 26, 2025 at his home.
Born in Williamston, he was a son of the late Oscar Jackson and Virginia Jones Horne. He retired from Amoco Performance Products and was a long-time member of Piedmont Wesleyan Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter, Suzanne Horne Neal; sons, Darin, Wayne, and Daniel Horne; sister, Mary Higginbotham; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren,
The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 29, from 1:00-1:45 p.m. at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer with the memorial service following at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel.

Randy Stevenson “Steve” Chastain of Woodruff, 75, husband of Rita Jeanette Knight Chastain, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2025.
Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Roy Earl Chastain, Sr. and Dorothy Lanese Gillian Chastain Ramsey. He retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Rodney Chastain, Allison Lanese Chastain, Jennie Lee, Joey Chastain, Eric Chastain, and Stacey Jackson; 18 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Debbie Chastain; and brother, Ronnie Chastain.
The family received friends October 25 at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer with the funeral service following in the mortuary chapel. Burial will be on the family farm in Woodruff.
