In the South Greenville Fire District Commissioner race, Jim Darby retained his seat on the commission with 225 votes. Jimmy Brashier narrowly won a second seat with 178 votes barely edging out Julia Altman who received 174 votes. Anthony Tate had 110 votes. There were 5 write-in votes cast.
Prior to the election, three of the four candidates for two of the seats open for re-election participated in a public form moderated by Daniel Rumfelt. The two incumbents Commissioners Jimmy Brashier and Jim Darby as well as newcomer Julia Campbell Altman answered questions related to the management of the South Greenville Fire District.
