Groundbreaking held for Pelzer Veterans Memorial
A groundbreaking ceremony for the Pelzer Veterans Memorial was held on Friday, Nov. 14th in Pelzer. The memorial will be located in Wardlaw Park which is located at 112 Lebby Street, behind the Pelzer Gym. The Pelzer Heritage Commission (PHC) has partnered with Meritus Signature Homes for the project honoring local Veterans. Once completed, PHC will announce the dedication and ribbon cutting which will be open to the community. It is not too late to order memorial bricks for your favorite veteran.
