The Williamston Christmas Parade will be held on Sunday, Nov. 30 at 5 p.m. as part of Williamston’s Winter Wonderland Event. This year’s theme is “Keep Christ in Christmas”.

There will be a major change to the parade route which will be shortened and begin on East Main Street at Mill Street and end at the traffic light at West Main and Academy Street.
Line up will be behind Grace United Methodist Church and down Williams Street.

Line up is first come regardless of entry number. A representative of the Williamston Fire Department will check entry numbers and instruct when to enter the parade route. Organizers ask that parade entries please keep two car lengths between you and the entry in front of you.
Pre-registration is highly recommended as check-in will go faster. Parade entry forms are available at Town Hall and can be emailed to sherricole@charter.net or texted to 864-353-2893. Last day to preregister is Wednesday, Nov. 26 at 5 p.m.
Every entry must register and have an entry number. Entry Numbers will be given out at check-in and must be displayed on the passenger side of the entry to be allowed into the parade route.
Judges will be located in front of the Williamston Fire Department. Please slow down to allow judges to view your entry. Awards will be presented during the Winter Wonderland opening event which begins at 6:30 pm in front of Town Hall.
No entry may have a SANTA! Santa hats/shirts are allowed. Horses must be at the end behind Santa.
Candy cannot be thrown from entries, but may be carefully tossed from entry or handed out by walkers.
Please check the Town of Williamston website for any changes due to inclement weather. Decisions will be made the day of the parade, organizer Sherri Cole said.
