The West Pelzer – Pelzer Christmas Parade will be held Saturday, December 6 at 5:30 pm. There is no entry fee for the parade.
The Parade Route on Hwy. 8/Main Street will begin at West Pelzer Fire Department and end at the Pelzer Gym. Judges will be at Chapman Park.
Staging will take place on Palmetto Station Way and Stephanie Dr. and lineup will begin at 4:30 p.m. The road will close in preparation for the parade.
Parade entry check-in will be in front of the fire department. Parking for parade participants will be at the West Pelzer Elementary school and participants can walk to the parade staging area.
Late entries and new entries will not be accepted after 5 pm on the day of the parade.
Large vehicles (i.e. tractors, large truck oversized floats) will line up on Main St between the Fire Department and Palmetto Rd.
Horses will stage at the Elementary School and will follow the Santa float at the end of the parade.
For the safety of children and all spectators, parade entries should ensure that candy makes it to the sidewalk to prevent kids from walking out in the road during the parade.
